About the Role
Job Title: Denturist
Location: Sexsmith Denture Clinic – Sexsmith, Alberta
Employment Type: Full-time
As a Denturist, you will be responsible for the assessment, design, fabrication, fitting, and adjustment of complete and partial dentures, as well as implant-supported prosthetics. You’ll work closely with patients from consultation through to follow-up care, helping restore their confidence and quality of life through expert denture services.
🔧 Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and oral assessments.
- Design and fabricate full and partial dentures, including immediate and overdentures.
- Provide relines, rebases, and repairs.
- Take accurate impressions and jaw records.
- Fit, adjust, and maintain dentures for comfort and function.
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Educate patients on denture care and maintenance.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
✅ Qualifications
- Licensed Denturist in the Province of Alberta.
- Graduate of an accredited Denturist program.
- Strong technical and clinical skills in all areas of denture fabrication and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and professional demeanour.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
